The Cherry Blossom Festival By The Loop x Nam San VM
The Cherry Blossom Festival at The Loop By Takashimaya, created by Nam San VM, offers a Japanese-inspired ambiance from March to May. The outdoor setting features glowing lanterns, a grand temple roof, and sakura petals lining the paths, with a traditional wish board where visitors can write their hopes. Inside, a serene tea corner with tatami cushions and warm lighting provides an intimate space to enjoy Japanese tea culture and cuisine.
Concept
Inspired by Japan’s cherry blossom season, the design transforms the venue into a “festival garden” filled with poetic and symbolic elements. Traditional materials like wood and tatami are combined with iconic visuals – lanterns, Ema plaques, sakura petals – to craft a soft yet immersive sensory journey. This is not just a decorative setup, but a space for interaction, reflection, and brand storytelling through cultural immersion.
